This year the 4 way competition was hosted by Stirling and judged by Eddie Telford. As you would imagine a very high standard was met by the 4 clubs Edinburgh, Stirling, Mussleburgh and Kirkcaldy with Edinburgh and Kirkcaldy tied for 1st place. This was after each club presented 15 digital photographs for Eddie to study and score. A great result for KPS and enjoyed by a large zoom crowd. Many thanks to Eddie for his time and expertise in judging this annual event.

Final scores.

First Equal - Edinburgh Photographic Society and Kirkcaldy Photographic Society with 267 points

Third - Mussleburgh with 264 points

Fourth - Stirling Camera Club with 259 points

A real jewel in our KPS crown. Moira took us on an adventure through some of South America's almost forbidden territories (at least for some of us). Brave entry to jungles, swamps and rivers by transport only one can describe as unusual to say the least. An extreme knowledge of small critters & exotic birds made this journey absolutely mind blowing by our clubs very own David Attenborough.

Polina is a London based photographer. She spoke of her artistic influences from early Jan Van Huyum to more recent Ron Van Dongan. Still life is her forte which motivated some club members to expand their skill to this type of photography. Her use of flowers, fruit and generally anything she thought interesting enough to bring a shot to life.
