AFFILIATIONS

Kirkcaldy Photographic Society (KPS) was one of the founding members of, and is affiliated to, the Scottish Photographic Federation (SPF), a non-profitmaking network of around 100 clubs and societies across Scotland. The remit of the SPF is to promote the art and science of photography through interaction.

The SPF in turn is a member of the Photographic Alliance of Great Britain (PAGB), an organisation that co-ordinates, activities for photographic clubs and societies across Scotland, England, Wales & Northern Ireland (including the Channel Islands and Isle of Man). Which also give KPS an affiliation to the PAGB.

KPS submits images to both the SPF and the PAGB and have been very successful in both. All members are welcome to submit images for consideration by our selection committee. We normally have a few members attend these events and all members are welcome.

Being affiliated to these organisations allows our members to work towards accreditation with both - this entitles you to letters after your name.
