Founded in 1898, we are proud to be one of Scotland’s oldest and most active photographic clubs. In 1903, we became a founding member of the Scottish Photographic Federation (SPF), and since then, our competitive spirit and inclusive community have flourished. We welcome photographers of all levels—from beginners to seasoned professionals—and offer a rich and varied syllabus designed to help you develop your skills and grow as a photographer. 

We are fortunate to have many highly experienced members, several of whom have received national and international recognition for their work. They are always happy to share their knowledge, providing guidance and encouragement to help everyone progress.

Our club has built a strong reputation in external competitions such as the SPF and PAGB, consistently achieving excellent results. We continue to go from strength to strength and are proud to be counted among the top clubs in Scotland. We encourage all members to get involved—your participation not only contributes to our collective success but also enhances your own photographic development.

Most importantly, we are a warm, friendly, and supportive community, united by a shared passion for photography and a commitment to helping one another.

I’m honoured to serve as President after two years as Vice President and Syllabus Secretary. I’m deeply passionate about the club and fully dedicated to helping us grow and reach even greater heights.
